The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs: Playable Pets Mod! That I couldn't see the needs bar for my fur pets but I'll download this mod and give this a go!

• I downloaded this out of curiousity, and it's very good.
  I never play with mods anymore since I once downloaded a bad bunch that completely crashed my game.
  However this one fixed one very annoying bug for me, which was the '[name] spirit is fading etc etc' notification stacking up about 5 times in a row.
  Now I only receive them once. A big improvement!
  It's also good to see what animations and actions they made for the pets, but if you leave them to it and act by themselves you barely even get to see half of them.
• Even though I'm quite happy with the fact that the pets aren't playable, I'll keep an eye on this thread in case I want to change my playing style. Thank you for this link! I'm sure many people will find it useful.

  I was pretty impressed with how the mod looks. It really makes me wonder why it wasn't implemented, or at least an option. Sorry to hear about the crashing due to the mods. Are you enjoying the pet mod?

  You're welcome! Unfortunately, I won't be able to try out this mod because I don't have The Sims 4. I am considering to get it when it goes on sale for the console, though. It looks like a pretty cool mod to use. I personally don't mind that much not being able to control pets if it is like the Sims 2 control, but there are some things I would like to be able to see.

  Cats and Dogs won't be available on console as a heads up. I guess the team is still working on it. Also, you can't put mods in the console version. I would suggest the PC version if you want to do all that fun stuff!

  The pets still are absolutely still unpredictable. I've never played with autonomy off though so I'm not sure on that half I could test it. But with autonomy on they're not different from the vanilla game.

  Yes, I am aware of both of those. I am willing to wait for it to be released on console as I do not wish to have Sims 4 on my laptop. Plus, I don't have either console yet (PS4 is what I want) so I'll have to wait regardless. Thank you for the heads up, though . I appreciate it.

  I don't play with autonomy off either. That kind of makes sense though since we wouldn't even be able to control them with autonomy off. I think that option is just for Sims.

  they still roam around with autonomy off. I tried this when working on a machinima and the pets still roam and did things.

  I posted this half past 1am today. I went 5 pages in to see if anyone had already posted about the mod but I couldn't find one. Thank you for showing me this thread , I didn't see it when I was looking before posting mine.

• I download the sims 4 playable pets mod, while i'm playing the sims 4 to try out this mod when i click on the floor and i choose the action sleep here while i controlling my sim pet and all the sudden Turbodriver 🌺🌺🌺🌺 sents me an error, i sent a message to Turbodriver and he/she reply to that the sims 4 playable pets mod is the one which causing this.. so i have to remove it from my game

  The mod is safe there ertains you can;t do. Because its not finish you can have the dog sleep on the couch,
