- Your sim can put a car in his pocket and fixes appliances by hitting it with a hammer.Do try not to let it get to you.36
- edited June 2017Thank goodness for miraculously appearing cars from the garage to the street. Sims would probably have trouble negotiating backing up around the trees and would have a fender-bender exiting the driveway. 'Cut right..NO NO NO..LEFT!!!! OH PLUM!!! Hit the tree..'

I ♡ Pudding - I usually stash cars in basements. It's rare for my sims' houses to even have a garage, and if they do the garage is usually used for other things. Teleporting cars seem to be a part of simphysics and I'm fine with that.3
- What you need there is a CC car modeled and scripted to function as the Mach 5 from Speed Racer. One of the buttons on the steering wheel console, it's been far too long for me to remember which one, should allow the car to just jump over the nature strip if it has a high enough approach velocity.
Although not sure how that works when in reverse, come to think of it. Maybe it would be better to just remove the driveway and parking space if it breaks immersion that much for you.

EDIT: Wait, never mind. I thought this was a lot that sits next to the street.Fear not the fae, for they are harmless. Anger not the fae, beware their wraith. Harm not the fae, fear the Faerie Knight. - edited June 2017Twinbrook is weird. Nobody knows each other s traits, not even the sims from the same households. Which is weirder than having a driveway that does not reach the road but a decoration lot.
There's also that one hidden lot in the industrial district that seems to be sealed off for no real reason, one of the starter homes in the swamp area uses a wall texture that's from a different expansion pack entirely, this trait knowledge issue, and more. I have no idea what's going on with that town, and this is just another thing to add to that list, albeit a minor one. The title was a bit dramatic I admit. - Alright, I'm curious. What hidden lot? Its been awhile since I've played twinbrook but I've never seen it? (well duh if it's hidden )0
- That warehouse doesn't have a lot marker at all in my game. And it's not completely sealed off. The fence doesn't go all the way around it.0
- I got curious as well and found this old thread. And now I'm even more curious!7
- I haven't explored the various towns much yet. Everyday life tends to get pretty busy for my sims, especially once they start a family. But I should do so sometime.Fear not the fae, for they are harmless. Anger not the fae, beware their wraith. Harm not the fae, fear the Faerie Knight.
- @JoAnne65 ah, me too! Darn you forum posters who didn't take any pictures!2
Indeed! Maybe we should investigate.. Think I'll start with that ruin in Monte Vista.@JoAnne65 ah, me too! Darn you forum posters who didn't take any pictures!6- @Goulsquash Look for the criminal warehouse in Twinbrook. Right across the road from it, there's a building that looks exactly like the one that's used for the seasonal festival in Riverview. The railroad tracks are right behind it, because it's supposed to be an old railroad depot. You'll have to have an active sim to look inside it. You can't do it with edit town, because there's no lot tag. But it is indeed a lot. Enable testing cheats, then click on the ground outside the building and select 'build on this lot.' Then you can see everything inside it.2
- I just went into my game, first visiting Twinbrook.
It's the building next to the watertowers. There's not much in there, but you could completely decorate it or even make something spooky out of it.
Then I went to Monte Vista to find the ruin, and for sure, there are stairs I never noticed.
Nothing there though, and quite small.
I tried if it's possible to make a tomb out of it, but I couldn't add stairs down into the cellar I built because you can't 'inside the foundation' (which by the way is one of the silliest, irritating and unnecessary restrictions in the entire game..).19 - I've never noticed that lot in Twinbrook can be entered by a sim. It is pretty much the festival lot in Riverview.
@IreneSwift , that lot is zoned as a Hidden Tomb. You have to set EnableLotLocking to true to get a map tap in Edit Town.
@JoAnne65 , isn't that were the festival lot from Monte Vista goes? I haven't played MV in a long time, but it looks familar, minus the festival times. I forget what they put downstairs. Bathrooms maybe, or something else.1 - There is no seasonal festival lot in Monte Vista in my game, nor is there one in the library to be placed there. I've always wondered why there isn't one for Monte Vista, especially since there are festival lots in the library for worlds I don't even own. All that lot is in my game is a park. Does MV come with a festival lot already on it? If so, that would probably explain why I don't have it, since I bought MV long before I bought the Seasons EP.0

The key to building inside the foundation is, of course, to delete foundation. If you delete inner foundation and then one section of the outer foundation so that the basement isn't completely enclosed, then you can add stairs.Lagless IP

That's how I managed in the past but it's a hassle. And this is an existing building, built on rough ground. I wonder if it can be done.I just went into my game, first visiting Twinbrook..
