The song does a good job explaining the problem we have with over-sensitivity in todays American Society. Excessive cussing in songs is a new phenomenon. Music sales used to rely on radio airplay. There is no cussing on AM radio. Which prior to the 1970s (Maybe the 1980s.) is what most cars had. And almost no cussing on FM radio. There are social norms to what is & what is not polite.
